Roufaïda
Maths, physics and chemistry tutor
Qualified chemical engineer, with more than 1,000 hours of private tutoring given since 2020.
Roufaïda has been teaching mathematics, physics and chemistry since 2020, with more than 1,000 hours of private lessons given to students in Geneva, the canton of Vaud and French-speaking Switzerland. Holding a master's in chemical engineering after a physics-chemistry degree awarded with highest honours and top of her class, she is also a certified teaching tutor.
Her teaching starts from a simple principle: when a student does not understand an explanation, repeating it identically rarely helps — a different way in is needed. She works as much with students who have gaps or lost confidence as with those aiming to deepen a subject and reach excellent results.
In a lesson, she explains before asking students to memorise, looks for the real origin of a mistake rather than simply correcting it, and adapts her method to how each student thinks, so their independence builds up gradually.
What they bring to a student
Advanced physics and chemistry
A master's in chemical engineering and a degree awarded top of the class.
A four-pillar teaching method
Understanding before memorising, targeting the real cause of mistakes, adapting explanations and building independence.
More than 1,000 hours of lessons
Experience built since 2020 with students of very different profiles.
